Windows consists of three large but very thin steel sheets (22 gauge) which hang from a frame. The three elements hang freely, allowing the forms to blow softly in the wind, creating low frequency tones. The combination of sound and movement create a performance. Each element is cut so as to not leave any 90 degree angels, allowing for an offset form. An irregular window is cut into each element, allowing the viewer a different perception through the work. The sculpture creates an outline in the environment, eluding to the formation of line drawings and architecture in an outdoor space. Each element cuts its own lines and forms into the outdoor environment, allowing it to slowly interact with the others, constantly changing the viewer's perception of space, form, sound and movement.
